L.A I don't remember when WWII started and ended? When it asks "What is the initial state of mind of the protagonist?" what is it asking for?
World War 2 was 1939 to 1945. It lasted six years, and led to the Cold War which lasted about another thirty years. The Cold War wasn't the same kind of war as WWII, it was more of an arms race. "What is the initial state of mind of the protagonist?" probably is just asking what the main character's attitude was at the beginning of the book, movie, play or whatever (I assume this isn't still related to the War because there isn't a protagonist in wars).
I'm actually doing L.A a review on LOTF (Lord Of The Flies) it super boring at the beginning, and confusing because of the British slang(A lot) but I managed to figure it out. Though it gets good as you get into the story. Edit: The cold war was more of alliances, and threats. No weapons or nuclear arms.
Since you got top marks for LOTF, Can u help me with this then? What are the major complications facing the Protagonist in his search to achieve his goal and how does he meet these challenges?
you do know what protaginist is yah? ok..the protagonist is ..whats his name again>?...the main character..hmm....is it ralph?? yeah? well if you read the story, he has alot of obstacles and troubles facing him; eg, his enemies, the splitting of the group, the "beast", and pretty much...survival. and his main goal is obviously is to survive and get out of the island.....hm...let me remmber the what happened in the story...this was so long ago...i think he had another goal. the other goal was to find inner peace in everyone or something?? i cant remmerb lol... i remmeber there was alot of killing...the small dude simon got killed..and the fat dude at the end got killed... have i helped? if i havent tell me =]
Yea thats what it was Piggy was killed with a boulder(Roger pushed down), and Simon was stabbed to death in the dark because Jack was so retarded, same with his tribe thought that was the beast. Ralph was the protagonist right? Have you watched the show? I believe there is 2 versions.

Factor if Possible 8x² - 25 If you can't see that its 8x squared minus 25 Remove the common factor, then factor using a difference of squares. 3d² - 27 (3d squared) Yea thats about it. The first is factorable but ugly and and assumes that it is equal to 0. If it is equal to zero (or at the very least you are allowed to divide everything by 8 ) it factors into (x+(5*(2)^(1/2)/4)) (x-(5*(2)^(1/2)/4)) If your not allowed to divide by 8 I am not sure if it is factorable. the second one breaks into 3 (d+3) (d-3) with nothing fancy happening.
