Aghhhhhhh! I hit puberty a couple months ago. It is insane... How do you deal with these hormones? The emotions. I get sad and almost start to cry when I see something sad. I get real happy when I see something happy. It's like my emotions were amplified 10x the usual. I get these weird mood swings too. It's so... different! And the worst yet, I'm starting to like every pretty or even slightly pretty girl I see. I also get these disgusting thoughts in my head as well. They just pop in my head randomly.

Almost the same degree of change mentally as I have physically. The only positive thing I can think of about puberty, is the growth spurt. I'm a year younger than people in my grade but I'm taller or the same height as a bit over half of my grade. I'm starting to think I'm going to grow into a tall person depsite being the shortest kid in the class every year since probably the second grade. Also... pimples. So annoying. I wash my face well and I use those pimple pads to treat them and yet they still pop up. The last thing is, the hair. I mean I had no hair down there and then suddenly this forest just came out of no where. Scary.

How do you deal with these emotions... They just... suck.

 

Hmmm, well its been a very long long time since I hit puberty and I don't remember much but just try to relax and understand the changes you are going through are completely normal. It may take a little bit to adjust at first but soon these changes will be second nature to you.

 

Your emotions will be stronger the rest of your life. All that will really change there is your control over them. You will get used to the increased amounts of hormones, so you will have greater control.

The girl bit, I feel you man, all us men went through that. Just part of growing up yo.

Around half way through your growth spurt, you will have more trouble controlling your movements and balance and such.

Pimples, hardly ever had any, can't help you there. I had some yea, you will be hard pressed to find anyone that never had one.

Lol you just had to bring in hair. I don't ever remember not having hair down there. You will also get hair on in your armpits as well. Possibly some on your chest and stomach included. That part really depends on genes though.

 

Heheheh I already have some in me pits dark ( you did not need to know that), and you know how old I am, i'm going through puberty right now and for the past year. I feel no different except for size D: and a little bit more stinky. <3 How old are you ? I think I beat you.

No, it doesnt really matter, everyone comes at different paces, its just..... I always thought I was going to be a late bloomer, so did my friends. Then when there like, sooo. Does anyone have armpit hair *raises hand* , wow nick. I didnt think you would be the one ahead XD

It really doesn't matter when you hit it. Just the sooner you do, the younger you will likely be when it is done.

ah anchorman, great move. Anyway, when i went through puberty I most just stayed home and ate. I didn't get over emotional or suffer an adverse side affects, it was kinda normal actually.

 

same here, I didn't really feel any different than I would have before. Only major affect I noticed was the body growth.

Not sure it affected my mental growth as much as it should have, Kurai would definately say I act alot younger than my 20 year old self.

I hit puberty at about 12.. The most noticeable changes were hair in general (I had a light moustache at around 13 and by age 15 had a really cool goatee) , and also the sudden and overwhelming desire for women... which to this day remains lol.

Male puberty?! You think ANY of you boys have idea how ****ing scary it is when you randomly start bleeding from your privates! I am not saying the basic changes are more dramatic in women, we just get a bonus! Imagine that you think its a good day accept you now have a ****** with hair and its starts bleeding! And in the middle of school to boot. You have no ****ing idea whats going on, you thought you were to young, you think your gonna die from blood loss, your crying in your seat, unable to move from the IMMENSE pain, and everyone is laughing, at you!

Yes the hair is scary, the pimples are a *****, your voice will dramatically change (soon and yes you will hate it), and you will basically want to hump anything that moves that looks somewhat not ugly. And yes women get very horny during puberty, and my personal experience was more severe than most (women that is). At least I......wait....there......is no.......at least........it all sucked.........it was horrible........now.....I remember..........so......much......pain........and hate........thank *CENSORED BY THE BUREAU OF NO MORE RELIGION* its all over.
