You know it always surprises and at the same time appals me how narrow-minded most programmers are when deciding on the key assignments. Sure you can reassign them here but for one, most people just want to jump in and score thousands of points and not bother with settings, and two, some games don't have the option to redefine keys. It could be A and S, or Q and W, you know, the ones that are the same worldwide? But no, you have to pick X and Z which for half the globe are miles apart. /rant Nice game though, but it could do with a few more iconic characters
Took me a while to figure out wth are you talking about, well maybe 'cause I'm on the lucky part of the globe this time
In the real NES mario game you can't go backward in a stage. The stage only moves one direction. But in this game you can go backwards too. Nice . And another thing Megaman could only slide in Megaman 3. But the music/fire ability is from megaman 2. And for me the easiest toon to play this game with is the stock standard mario.
Actually I did try Megaman after a few levels playing Samus. Megaman can't jump for ****; Every time I reached the mushroom in the jumping fish level I'd die immediately afterward because my jump distance was just shy of the ledge. Also, Bill ain't bad. I still like how Samus's attacks freeze enemies though.
Just try to beat the game with simon belmont (from castlvania). He totally sucks. The hardest toon to play as. Bill is cool but I find megaman easier to play as.
