I've just been playing a few SC2 games, and yes loosing is as fun as winning. But I have a question, I want to see what the max settings my computer can handle. So is there any way to see what frames per second (fps) I am getting in SC2? Then I could tailor a graphics setting to the number of fps I would like. Thanks .
You could get Fraps and set it to show FPS. Since you won't be using it to record you can just download the trial version too.
That would work thanks. I wish Blizzard would have added it into the game like they did in WoW. I'd have to ose bootcamp for it though. At a stretch I just might.
Once I work out how to access and use the debugger I'll be ok. Thanks for that. i'll try to find it if I can.
Use FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com/) I'm not sure how trial works ... my friend gave me the real thing. But it should allow you to capture at least a small portion of game in video. Then figure out fps using that.
Actualy I found an easier way to display the FPS in game. Just press Control+Alt+F keys all at once and bingo you fps appears on the screen. I tried it on the home screen inside SC2 and I got my fps.
You don't need to use FRAPS. http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23425468905&sid=5000 -- oic, you beat me to it, ark
