I don't know how I'd like to die. Every time I think of death for more than 5 seconds, as in seriously considering the facts, I feel I'm about to sob so I avoid the topic. But probably I would be most comfortable (as much as one can be with this) thinking that I have enjoyed life and have done good things to others. I don't particularly want to provide anything remarkable to mankind.

At first I wasn't sure where to post this, in here on in Space Junk, but I settled on The Lounge since if it was placed here I would (hopefully) get more serious respeonses.

This is a topic I've been giving some serious thought over the last couple of days and I was hoping some of the people here would want to share their thoughts on the subject.

 

To be honest, i dont really care how i die. Its going to happen anyway, so im just focusing on my life at the moment. And when death comes reaching for me, i hope at that time i'll be able to accept it. If not, im going kicking and screaming.

 

Just as in every moment you're just an exact copy of the "you" from the previous moment, trust me nothing will change

might be quick but not instant, though, since the brain can live for a few minutes without oxygen, and you'd be fully conscious and aware for at least 15 seconds or so, i think. your chest would be hurting like hell.

Seriously though, I don't think about it much. Death (i.e. your own non-existence as a cognitive entity) is about the suckiest concept I can think of or try to imagine (an impossible but frightening endeavor), so I try to focus on how I would like to live instead.
