Frost Emblems piss me off cause now there's like 4 different kinds and there's like 7 vendors and UGHHHHHH. I haven't played for like 2 weeks though so.

    screw you frost emblems!

i need like 70 to get any decent gear.

And there are only 3 vendors that actually matter, and only 2 emblems.

These emblems are just another way Blizz ensures the players only care about themselves.
    I'll explain.

To get into a raid that spits out these emblems you need to have godly gear. Cause there's so many people on these over populated servers people can be anal about who they raid with. And to get the godly gear you need to get a spot in these raids you need to do lower raids. And since most people only want to do the frost emblem raids and none of the lower raids, it's very hard/impossible to gear up to the level they will accept for a frost emblem raid.

if people helped others in the lower raids instead of just thinking of themselves and their own frost emblrm count, more people would be geared up for these frost emblem raids. But since most WoW plsyers only care about their own toons fat loots, this will never happen.

You couldn't be more wrong. You can actually get good enough gear by just doing random instances. You get emblems of triumph for those, which give you more then good enough gear for most raids. The truly best gear is only needed for the last couple bosses. By the time you get there, you get enough gear from earlier bosses (drops) and the frost emblems you get from them.

@ the8thark - You join a good guild. BAM. My guild runs 5mHC, or at least starts a PUG for them, every night. We have a loot council set up for actual raids (of which we run every lockout period - even older ones) so all of our members end up at similar gear levels.

I like how you completely ignore poking at people's greed and just focus on the game.

Not saying you're addicted or anything

How can you be greedy when all the loot is basically divided by chance?

We're on 3.3 with ToC and the ICC raids closed atm (bug fixing *cough*). And you wear plate son. I am a squishy. Sure, I'll out-DPS all but seven people on my server, and 3 of them in PvE, but I'm a glass cannon. Warlock with 22k unbuffed doesn't stay alive too long and VW's taunts got hella nerfs.

Plus I'm Destro. It's a bit of aggro.

That's some serious pew pew. Thinking of starting a hunter after my pally is geared enough for icc25. Which will be in about a week, maybe 2. :)

Hahaha, of course an Orc. 5% extra pet damage ftw. Ogres would've been way cooler then Goblins, by the way. Seriously, has Blizz forgotten about the beastmaster?

    beastmaster wasn't an ogre. It was a half-ogre, half-orc
