yup, another fictional universe by yours truly; ijffdrie, maker of the fabled(and undercommented) SA universe(GIVE FEEDBACK DAMN YOU! ). So you all know how much i like comic book superheroes(spidey, please have my baby), so i thought lets think up my own, yet to be named, comicverse. Ill post idea's for new characters, comics and story arcs here. For the first one: The terran angel, the first issue starts with the background of the Terran Angel 1972: Richard Nixon presents the soldier of the future, a warrior that would win the vietnam war for him, The American Angel. Built of the lightest materials, equipped with indestructable wings, granting full-body protection from small firearms and, most importantly, capable of reducing the body weight of the user as to allow him to jump and run for hours at a levels unimaginable to even the worldst finest athletes, the American Angel suit is sure to give the american army the victory they need in Vietnam 1975: The American Angel suit is a failure. They were much too expensive and too few in number, the north has broken through american lines and conquered south vietnam, the remaining American Angels are called home. 1976: All but one American Angel are decommisioned, the last Angel serves as the bodygaurd of president Nixon, but abandons his duties when his wive is kidnapped by terrorists, who demand he turns over Nixon or they'll kill her. The Angel takes the president to the terrorists, but just when he is about to turn him in, a firefight breaks out between the terrorists and the police, both the American Angel and Nixon are lethally wounded and fall in the sea. their bodies are never found until... 2010: Adison Smith, a 14 year old boy from Brooklyn is beaten up by bullies from his school. After he fainted, the bullies think he is dead and dump his body in the water and then run. But Adison is alive, and in the water he sees a glinter of metal...
wait, there's something wrong with your story. You say the angel suit grants full body protection, so either they must have hit some weak point on the armor or the terrorists had some really damn strong firepower with em. So which is it?
Not to mention the fact that it was designed to stop small arms in 1972, during a war. Post war techs, driven by wartime development are far stronger. It sounds good. I don't think I'd read it though tbh, the suit is kinda...meh.
oh GOD. I thought the thread's name was "ijffdrie's circumcised" I really should not be hanging out here if I'm tired. Or was it jiffies puff of smoke that brought me to this conclusion?
