Woooooooooo!!!!!... i want to shout again wooooooooooooo!!!!!

As of now, I just arrived at home(redundant) from a very very very tiring trip from the Rigsite were I worked temporarily as a Rig nurse/ Translator/ Clerk.... Lol, It felt so lonely out there as I was one of the only few Filipinos in that place but on the better side of it, I met alot of foreigners and friends from that very short moment..

The company was all about drilling for natural resources and geothermal energies. Its goal was to help the Philippines rise up in its current economic position by aiding them getting their own source of oil stocks.. The process starts with biddings as to which company will try to drill for a region in our country and so far theres 1 in Mindanao (south Philippines) that theyve found... After that they will assemble this massive chunk of heap about 50-100ft tall of tons of Metal and drill whats to drill....

My work there started as a chaos as I really havent got any idea of whats the basic of the operation coz all i know is that I was called for as a medic/company nurse... It took me almost 2 days before I get the hang of it and get to know whats going on with everything... There were lots of conflicts and turmoils that happened through that short amount of time but so far Im glad that no one really got injured and so... The way Ive come to know the Ozzys they were much like the british when it comes to accent and they ussually add alot of curses as additional phrases for their daily sentences, and most of the time they are the hardest to undertstand, one of them that ive befriended was the mechanic and he was insanely funny as he tries to learns things from our culture and does drastic things and even says some funny words from our native tounge.... Another group Ive come up with are the malaysians and indonesians and wow they look very much like us Filipinos and Ive mistaken 2 of them as Fils when Ive talked to them with my own language w/c made me laugh when he said "Oh! sorry Im no Filipino.." But anyway it was a real funny situation coz that guy always uses some body language to express how he says things during our daily safety meeting.. The Kiwi ive come up with is much sounding like a russian guy but all I can say about him is that he is a chocolate monster coz everytime he has a break he goes straight into my office, grabs a coke and chocolate bar then starts chatting his angst about work and the heat coz its really turning him red.. A funny thing ive come into with is that i misunderstood someone as a foreigner coz we were both speaking in english for almost 2 weeks before we found out that we were both Filipinos.. The last foreigner ive talked with is the new Canadian boss, and hes a real tough guy coz he implements his military background the way he wants the work to be done and that pisses off most of the crew...

Anyway no one would even bother to read this so.. after a long 12 hour drive, im back at my place and generally in active mode again here in the forums.. so, hope im still welcome ^_^

    Welcome back friend!! xD

and hey! Aussies are not hard to understand (maybe cuz im a aussie myself). let me get things straight:
    1. We do not sound similar to the British people at all
    2. We dont swear alot. It all depends on the people. I for one dont swear at all because im Christian.
    3. The aussie people u met probably came from the country side of australia, tahts y they sound abit different.

anyways, as long as you had a good experience, then its all good friend =]

Hey! didnt knew u were an Aussie.. well tnx for the welcome Mate!

ive always thought that the word mate was made pursposedly on the harbord and the sailors and stuff but when ive talked to my cousins after they resided in australia for almost 20 yrs, he doesnt even understand now our own language, well that was funny, and another thing is that probably youre right coz even though they use them words it still doesnt dictate that they are that bad, coz most of the times they were just using them in a funny matter as to how they describe things... well, weve had alot of fun out there and its all good.

What does swearing have to do with being Christian?

    Hey, welcome back?

Well, considering swearing is against the rules of Christianity, I think that makes it have to do something with it.

hmm im not really using themwords but most people also wouldnt use them in a formal conversation anyways... being christian doesnt have to do anything with swearing unless ur meaning it as negative intent for someone else
