http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-iran-satellite4-2009feb04,0,4385361.story dont you feel safe? -__-
if i heard correctly is a comm satellite, which means that they dont have scopes or anything and i doubt they could get a clear sight anyways, and i dont phone to japan, so they cant listen to my calls
I think you'd need to pay people to listen to your calls. Anyway. It is a nice achievement but I'm not sure the timing is right. Also I was expecting a paragraph about America stating it won't bring it down or something.
I feel safe. I feel more safe with Iran because we all know this satellite can"t officially make big things. But what does the USA do ? Maybe they are spying what I am writing right now . I don't know. We don't know. I live at 5 minutes from the US embassy in Brussels. Can they send SWAT to me? LOL (No, frankly I live in the Island of the sharpshooters) Iran uses a satellite as if this country will make bad things. What does the USA do according to you ? Not spying us ? I doubt of it. I don't blame USA. We can't blame Iran too. Hasn"t Iran the right to build satellite and to launch them to space like Europe, USA, Japan, Russia, and Japan. Maybe some other countries too. Good luck Iran !
Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the USA claimed the spacespace surrounding Earth to be theirs and everyone else needed a permission to avoid obliteration.
The airspace above countries are the 'property' of the appropriate countries, as well as the seas and oceans, and so people within them are to obey the laws set by the 'owner'. Claiming space is just around the corner.
Yes, except there are actual treaties saying whaat you can or can't put in space and who owns space (everyone/noone) Shooting down someone elses satelite would get a coutnry embargoerd very quickly. As for Iran, I didn't even know they had launch capabilities, very surprising. All but a few countries outsource rocket launches.
Well, if the satellite isn't up there with any weapons or other things of some sort, there shouldn't be any problem about it. It doesn't bother me much, but the fact that they have the ability to send things into space and long distances does.
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/02/12/us.russia.satellite.crash/index.html Well what do you know, an accident. If the US wants something, the US gets it. The more bitter the inside, the sweeter the coating around it.
See all this anti-american sentiment here? That is why I am leaving, I hate being associated with it. So they launched a satellite, big deal. I bet someone is wanting to us this as an excuse to stay in the middle east, or the whole thing is a hoax for that very purpose.
