And you might want to use the the g-mail notifier. It creates a pop-up like an im program -msn- does whenever you receive a new e-mail.

Microsoft did something just like this last year, and they were involved here as well. One more time: when someone locates a worm and reverese-engineers it enough to see everything they claim to know now, then they can also make it go away.
