Is the beta over now?

 

Only the first phase. The second phase of Beta will begin a few weeks before release.

 

I just played my final game about an hour ago, can't wait to see what they improved when the 2nd phase starts.

 

are they going to reset the ranks again or ?
Also are they going to make it an open beta to test the new B.net servers?

 

I'm not sure about the resetting of the ladder, but it seems likely.
The beta will still be closed, however they might send out more invites.

So far what can be confirmed, Beta Phase 1 has ended. Phase one was used purely to test out bugs and Battle.net 2.0

They will be adding Battle.net 2.0 to World of Warcraft within a couple of weeks.

So we can guesstimate, that Phase 2 is used to test BN2.0 over other games, and other sections of Starcraft 2.

To answer your question, no it is not the end of beta.

 

If you seriously believe that phase one was only there for debugging purposes, then you couldn't be more wrong. So many balance changes have been made, and most of them have surely come from the tens of thousands of games which have been played during the beta.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the second phase.

 

What i meant by testing bugs was testing problems with Bnet 2.0 and balance, i just didnt really go into, my mistake.

Its easier to put down than WoW, So I will be buying it

Seeing as the game comes out in a month, it will probably be announced within the week.

 

I must have it. Yeah, I'll buy it. I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition.
