You like getting in trouble, eh? I think most of them are above average. People who actively visit forums and post there like discussions and new knowledge. At least that is how I see it. People who is lesser intellidjend, -Lol, haha. Hmm.- would not visit forums for these reasons, or they get banned. Hence the average user being above, erm, average. -that is just sweetness-

In general, no (at least not in my experiences). Most forums tend to have lots of unchecked flaming, etc. This forum and it's members, though, are gems among the internet.
Forums in general... average American... dumber than an asian and european. This forum... About the same as a European.

WIN These forums are quite good. A rare gem in the cesspool that is the internet. Most of the internet is rife with idiots. THis, and some of the SMALLER forums I visit are full of intelligent indiviuals. It seemss the size of the forums has alot to do with it. The clancore forums are less than active and have 10 remaining members, each post is pure genious. The Eve online forums get 10 new posts per minute, half of which are as usless as the users who made them.
It's not only the large fansites. Even battle.net or big gamesites like gamespot are full of crappy posts nobody cares about. BoP, if you are an EVE player, read on. You might be happy to hear that there is a homeworld 2 mod coming, which is based on EVE. The makers have full permission from the EVE people. There should be quite a lot of trailers on youtube by now. EVE in rts form. Should be fun.
