    Ah man, the ending was messed up.
    He ended up shooting his kid and friends right before getting rescued. :/
    Dang, and I thought the book's ending was evil. This is just plain wrong. Amazing movie, though. If only for the soundtrack and the crazy religious granny. Great acting.
