Yeah, shove one up his komon. But seriously: you can check a link before opening it by copying the link source. Just paste it into notepad to look what it is. And if you want to be really sure: google the link and see what comes up.
Googled the link - avg says its safe, however this does not clear the fact that he could be advertising... I found other websites afflicted with the same messages as i was here in PM's, read for yourself and be careful... Could mods look into this? Or am i just being absolutly un called for because the guy is simply saying a nice hello?...
