    Ha ha, I'm cannon fodder...

Um, anyways my name is Roman, but they call me Huxley Stronghead. I'm not an expert in RTS so practically a total noob. It hurts to be a noob but I stay positive and just try to learn as much as I can.

Actually the reason why I'm so unexperienced in RTS is that I was an FPS (First Person Shooter) gamer first. Now I'm an RPG gamer and play RTS like Warcraft 3 only once in a while. Which at this point may raise the question why I'm actually here. But the answer is simple. I saw and heard about Starcraft 2, and for some reason I feel drawn to it. It is not its gameplay but more its totally unique atmosphere...

So, that's why I'm here. I have the strong feeling I'm going to by Starcraft 2, and as a noob of course, now I'm here trying to learn as much as I can. :D

Welcome! You might want to buy StarCraft 1 to catch-up with the StarCraft universe or to kill the time waiting for StarCraft 2 to release.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the forum!

True, that's a thought. But I wonder whether such an old game still runs on my computer. Though, I still have XP, not Vista or Win7.

Thanks, I wonder how active the posters are here...

SC Runs on any modern PC. You don't even need the disc, just the keycode...

I've got XP myself and StarCraft works flawlessly. I'd only buy it if your interested in the story and single player though. It won'tgive you that much practise for SC2 multiplayer.

Welcome, enjoy. Hope you like the forums.

Yeah you should buy it. I strongly suggest you don't play multiplayer until you beat the entire original and expansion.

Thanks again for the welcome everybody. Kinda like it here so far, including the humor. My other forums I'm registered at are a bit boring. ^.^

    Nice!

    OK...

"Huxley" I picked because of the cool pronunciation. And I think before I do, so I put together "strong" and "head", to get a "Stronghead". Which stands for my intellect. Also it is the same surname crafting approach like in Warcraft and World of Warcraft. Though, in these lores a Huxley Stronghead doesn't exist.

I played WoW and I plan to play it again along with SC2. Probably I will play WoW more but regularly I should be beating some Zerg, too. :D

Also, a few words to my avatar, before someone asks. This avatar I made myself with Photoshop. It's name is "God Hill". Though, I'm not religious. In fact, the book that figure holds, well, let's say it is a book about scientific Aura Research. :p
