Would a Tauren Marine win 1on1 with a roach?
Tauren Marine is currently pretty OP right now.

Hey, Karune, I know it was said that cut units would be in available the editor, but does this also cover cut models of uncut units? I'm worried Blizzard might consider them inferior and not include them, but look at it this way: even though the new bunker surely looks better than the old, if a custom map had two bunkers it would look better if one of them used the old model rather than them both using the new model with different tinting. So, in cases where models/textures for existing units were reworked, will we get to use the old art in the editor anyway?
I can't say with absolute certainty yet that both Bunkers will be in the game, but I can definitely make that request to them. Most, if not all of the units you've seen will be in the editor though, such as the Protoss Soul Hunter, and of course old classics like the Terran Wraith.

Since the announcement of StarCraft II, it has been an exciting journey in sharing all the developing features and changes for StarCraft II. For the development team, it has been their prized project for even many more years before that.

The development team has been working hard to unveil StarCraft II with high standards and have since been keeping those standards while also hearing what the community has to say.

As we continue on the path towards releasing StarCraft II, I would like to be the first to write the Development Team to say that I am very grateful for all the work going into this project, as I have long been a StarCraft fan, and simply love the 'above and beyond' effort that can be seen throughout StarCraft II. From the brilliant game design mechanics like Warp-In to innovative units like the Stalker which introduces new strategies and the intricate visual details on the powerful Thor...it is all amazing!

With constant critique from the millions of fans worldwide, it is never easy, but I commend the team for doing a great job - Chris, Dustin, Sammy & the Team -KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

If Roaches 1v1 or would it be an infinite stalemate?
Would they die fast, slow or not at all?

If you had a single Roach vs another Roach, the game would not end :) If you have groups of them, focus firing them will still do the trick.

Hey, Karune. Just wondering about the creep-drop/corrupt resources ability and the Overseer in general.

    1. What does this leave the Overlord as now - the tier 1 slow-ass Overlord we're familiar with from SC1, minus detection?

    2. Are the "creep drop" ability and the "corrupt resources" ability the same - yielding different effects if targeted on open ground or on minerals, respectively?

    3. What's the cost of the creep drop/corrupt resources ability? Minerals, energy, cooldown, or what?

    1) The tier 1 Overlord is very slow and does not have detection, though still essential for scouting throughout the game.

    2) They are two different abilities. In generating creep, the Overlord essentially unloads a bunch of creep straight to the ground below it, which expands. Corrupting minerals takes some time to fully cast, but it creates a non-attacking creature that takes over that resource, and needs to be killed before those minerals are able to be gathered. Furthermore, you can corrupt resources that are already being mined, introducing potential Overseer raids to slow the enemy's production.

3)Neither abilities require energy. Creep generation does not have a cooldown whereas corrupt minerals has a small cooldown timer.

WTF? Does it cost minerals then or? Else it would be pretty OP! I hope it goes away after awhile at least! Or can be killed.

Creep dies without any buildings on it, although it would be OP because then you could spam creep to all the expansions to slow down the economy of the enemy. But maybe the rate at which it dies has been increased.

The mineral corruption thing attaches little creatures on to them and they have to be killed.

A cooldown is basically the same thing as requiring energy, except it can only be used for one ability and it can't disabled with EMP.
