Whats the deal with leagues? Im bronze right now ranked number 10 with 22 wins 20 losses yet someone with 9 win and 4 losses is higher then me? My bonus pool seems to be stuck at 0.... Will I need like 8 stright wins to get to silver?

    * Yes, I know I fail at spelling, hence the major spelling mistake in the title.

You gain points for winning and lose points fo losing. There's a 2 game difference between your wins and losses whereas the other guy has a 5 game difference. Your bonus pool increases when you're not playing the game.

So far as I can tell, for 2v2/3v3/4v4 it seems like there are different ladders for Random and for Fixed Partners.

Fixed Partners tend to use voice chat, have a meta-strategy, and know eachother's playstyles. These ladders seem to be more competitive so it's harder to climb up in Leagues.

2v2/3v3/4v4 Random seems to have a lot of players who should spend more time in 1v1 getting better but are playing multi-player to have another player(s) as a crutch. The placement system is also so random in it's 5 pairings that there are 1v1 platinum players in 2v2 Bronze and vice versa.

In other words, a player's 1v1 ranking is a much better representation of their skill-level than any ranking they have in 2v2/3v3/4v4 Random or Fixed.

The first 5 matches matter most, as in those matches you are basically faced against a variety of people (bronze, silver, gold, plat, ect..) It takes a big leap of faith based on those. After that, it re-evaluates your placement based on who you can beat and who you can't. It's about every 15 matches or so, if it's the same as beta.

Someone with 9 wins and 4 losses could very well be higher, because:
    1. They are winning WELL OVER 50% of their matches (unlike 22/20 which is slightly above 50%)
    2. Those wins may have been against higher ranked opponents.

So i was just wondering, as far as moving up leagues, does b-net do that automatically? and is it based on your current league rank? How dose it work exactly as far as moving say from bronze to silver league ect..

I do not believe it directly correlates to your division ranking. If you win enough games against people in a league above you then you will advance. At least that is the way I believe it works.

How the system works is still an enigma. One thing thats obvious is that we know Bnet keeps placing you against people you may be qualified to play. Example some people sucked royally in their placement but if they beat way higher ranked people it may put you in bronze but put you on a bronze or gold tier.. For example I almost always play people strongly favored thus a few wins jumps me up to the next tier because im playing with people at a higher level. Some people may just suck and only win against people in their own bracket so they need a lot of wins for bnet to say hey lets see if this guy can try some harder playerss once you start beating them a few wins will than promote you. The exact science to this is still bazar I hope a formula comes out soon
