    Hello,
After downloading and patching all the way up, my login screen looks like this and a click on anything except options causes a crash. I just got a key today...wtf...anybody know how to fix this?
    Thanks!

I posted this on a similar thread but just going to repost it here:

hey man, had the exact same problem.

    Seen a number of fixes:

    1. Uninstall antivirus/switch it to "game mode"

    2. Download the latest nvidia geforce drivers; they state "recommended for use with starcraft 2 beta" (i would start with this fix attempt)

    3. Rename this file as follows:

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net

    to

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net1

    4. Right click the .exe, go to compatibility tab, and click "disable visual themes"

I have heard of success using all these fixes, some people's only worked using fix 4, some had to use fix 3 etc etc.

So just try them one at a time and see if you get any success. I would recommend starting with the gfx drivers fix (seems to be the most common working solution)

    Hey man,
Thanks for the reply :) I did see that on another thread and did try those options and none worked, which is why I reposted. Darn, been looking forward to this one for awhile! Another reinstall is in order I guess, haha.

Also, if you have a sound blaster card, either update the drivers or disable it. I've been gaming the last few days on a disabled sound card. if I enable it, I have the same problem you have.

Curious, what model? My brudder's PC has a SoundBlaster XL or something like that and has no problems.

    Sound Blasty Audigy Gamer Edition.

It only started up with Patch 9. From what I can see from the Battle.net forums, pretty much everyone that has this particular card and many other sound blaster card has this problem. Has something to do with the new voice chat code.

There's also been conflicts with some web cams and microphones. Basically, if you're having a problem with the menu then chances are it's some compatibility problem with one of your hardware components.
