So I always have these pesky chipmunks in my backyard, so I got out my pellet gun and hunted it down, It was a blast, which I was not expecting. I felt *happy* I think I have a thirst for chippy blood!!! HELP ME!!!
Update: I just shot 2 MORE!!! The third one got away D:!
Edit: To make fenix not look like an idiot, I edited it and changed it from airsoft to pellet. <3

    Canada, eh?
...Am I the only person that finds shooting critters, likely doing nothing annoying, with an airsoft gun a little disturbing?

    They'll just come back.

You have to trap them and drive them far away and let them go.

    I do too willy.

I find the fish in the lakes in Elder Scrolls games more annoying then rad roaches, the roaches you don't have as big a problem finding.

Slaughter fish I think they are called.

Also those crab people things are crazy annoying.

How about buying a net for your strawberries instead of murdering chipmunks that you, yourself, have lured there? At the moment all you're doing is providing them with food, and then shooting them when they're 'stupid enough' to eat it. Either do what darkone said or build some sort of enclosure for your strawberries.

An airsoft rifle won't kill them, it isn't strong enough, but it will seriously bruise them. It leaves welts on human flesh, just imagine one the size of a basketball, that is what you're doing to them, since they are so small.

@ darkone. It's close enough. Anything like that could do some serious internal damage, and hitting them in the right place could easily be fatal. Even if it's not killing them, it's torture.

    I'm with Fenix.

Yea I know. It is harder to kill them with that then say actually shooting them. Lets take a basket ball and shoot it at you at 300 miles an hour, if it hits you in the right spot, you're dead.

I agree with fenix too. Only, lets make it one of those automatic baseball pitching machines, it'll have a similar effect on him as the rifle does on them.

It's not that hard to build a small enclosure in order to keep chipmunks, or anything really, out of your strawberry patch. If they dig, dig a fence in. To my knowledge, strawberry plants aren't awfully big, so you could easily stick a small container or plastic bottle around each. Lastly, you could build a proper enclosure for them.

Whatever you do, torturing animals should not be a part of it, especially when it's not even a solution, as you can't guard your strawberries with whatever the hell you're guarding it with, tell us what it is when you finally make up your mind, all the time, so they're just going to get eaten when you're not guarding them anyway.
