I know there are dark templar in SC2, but i don't think they'll be able to morph into dark archons, correct?

So then there is no one race that can control other drones, scvs etc. to be able to control a whole other race?
if not i think it's good. it was a huge unfair advantage.

Correct me if i'm wrong on this.

No more Dark Archons, only the regular Archon that can now be made with a HT/HT, DT/DT or HT/DT. In the last build Zerg had some sort of MC ability with the Defiler replacement (called the Infestor). It corrupts a unit, making it yours to control for 10-15 seconds, after which it comes back under the original player's control.

However, Blizzard has stated that all of the old Starcraft units that didn't make the cut for multiplayer will be in the map editor, so they can be implemented if someone wanted to make a classic map in SC2.

Um.. The infestor can only infest buildings, not troops.

The corruptor on the other hand can corrupt air units.

you need to get up to date, the Infester in the Blizzcon build had 3 different abilities, than the ones it had in March.

1st: Fungal Infection(or something along those lines) targets 1 unit, that unit will stop moving and will constantly take damage til death, where it will explode causing splash damage, the amount of splash damage is dependent on which unit you cast Fungal Infection.

2nd: Infested Terrans, the Infester will lay 5 eggs that will become Infested Terrans in about 3-5 seconds.

3rd: Neural Parasite(or along those lines) mind controls an enemy unit for 10-15 seconds.

sounds good, but as long as it's only 10-15 seconds... that's not much time to do much with it..

If it's a drone or a probe, you can build a base

Since the mind control is temporary, it seems fair.

If you control an enemy drone however, you would have to rush to construct your building before it's effect wears off. This would make it less useful to construct a building, unless you say cleared out the enemies base beforehand and had room in that area.

Why would you try to build something with a drone if the corruptor's already a zerg :p

Terran would need like 10 corruptions to complete a base XD

Hey, if you corrupted a Probe, you could just quickly start warping in a Nexus and Pylon and then you would be Protoss as well xD.

They might just make it, where you cannot use a or scv to make their buildings. Maybe just repair units for scv's though it would be pointless if you are only going to own the repaired unit for 15 seconds. Probes would probably just be useless.

Probes wouldnt be useless, since they could start warping in a building quickly. Unless anything they build would be building an enemy building maybe?

That's what I'm saying, they probably wouldn't let you start to build a building of another race with an MCed unit, it'd be to OP.

You could in starcraft but it was never used competitively, just something nice to mess around with. In the end you're better off if you use the resources on improving your original race.
