I dont use a mothership very often but i was thinking about it the other day and was wondering if your play a with someone and they give you control of their unit scan you do a recall on their units also with the mothership ? Was going to try this but had to change plans durning the last few games and never go to it.
i didn't really understand your point here but i got something like "is it possible to recall your allies units?" and to be honest (i haven't tried it yet) i think the answer would be yes
I think the answer is no, tbh... Last time I saw someone do a baneling bomb recall on someone else, he had used an infestor to mind control a probe and tech up to mothership as a zerg... Ofc it's possible that it is possible to do it but the guy who made that video didn't know either... Still you do get to cloak your allies units and I'm 100% sure about that, at least...
you can only recall your troops with recall ability, that means if im playing with a terran/protoss/zerg and i give him share control, he can only recall my troops... alrdy tried it out :d
The answer is no. I have tried this. As some of you know I spend a lot of time trying to craft funny builds, and one of which involved using mass recall on my zerg partner's banelings. It didn't work.
But your zerg partner could have made a mothership and used recall himself [youtube]mrvND2KJG0k[/youtube]
4vs4 Mothership Try this is hilarious: I team up with my mate, both protoss. Used the other 2 guys to help us out by sharing resources. Both toss focus on researching for MS, get y'r MS asap with chrono's. So have 1 MS left and 1 rightside of the map (depending what map, you can figure out the best position to mass recall). have em go asap. Have the 2 guys defend and hold the ramp, and make units al go to the same area to mass recall. as many as possible..let's say in the middle of our ramp. Timing attack: Do a double mass recall on to the ramp of the opponents...1 from the left 1 from the right.
