As soon as I get to the login screen my mouse will not move and I have to hit the Esc button on the keyboard to exit, but I can hit tab to get to put in my username..... I have a Microsoft wireless 3000 v2.0 keyboard and mouse. I have had no other problems like this until now. I have been playing the beta on my laptop with a different wireless mouse no problem. I recently upgraded the video card in my computer to a Nvidia GTS 250 and this wireless set up so I could play Starcraft 2 on my 46"LCD TV. I have tried this mouse and keyboard, the mouse I use with my laptop, and the wired mouse that came with the computer. All of them have the same problem..... >=\ If anyone has any ideas PLEASE HELP lol. I would like to get this resolved before the game is released so any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Comp specs:
    Intel 1.8 dual core
    3 GB Memory
    Nvidia GTS 250 video card
    500GB hard drive
    Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
Microsoft wireless 3000 keyboard & mouse

    THANKS!

the beta is over my friend, has been for three days now. So that might be a reason, but other thenn that i have no idea what your problem might bee. Try fiddling with your advanced options, there might be something there that can help.

    Hi harper.

I have the same mouse as you do. It will normally freeze up from time to time during high-end 3D rendering, such as that which the Starcraft 2 menus have, believe it or not. These menus require more video than a game like Bioshock did 2 years back. Here's your simple solution: Use a wired mouse while playing a high-end game like SC2. I have 2 mice plugged in, so what I do is I play SC2 with a wired simple mouse (Logitech, Microsoft, it doesn't matter the model or type) then when I play other games that don't require as much graphics accelleration I use my Microsoft Wireless Mouse v2.0

If you're playing it on a large screen and need the distance, get a USB cord extender.

Use a wired mouse, simple as that.

Hope this is of help to you.
