I thought this would be a fun discussion. What movies that are pretty much hated by the majority of viewers did you enjoy? I enjoyed: waterworld spider-man 3 avatar (the one on pandora, not the one with the elements) sucker-punch Feel free to question every other member's taste on movies and feel even more free to defend the movie you like, but please don't use any personal insults.
I can't think of any right now that I would know other people despise but I like. Perhaps... Jesus Camp.
Wait, most ppl hated Avatar? That movie was totally awesome I think. Like Fern Gully grown up and on steriods.
Well, most reviews and such are neutral or slightly positive, word on the street is fairly good but word on the tubes is just outright awful. Since the discussion is on the tubes, I thought it was worth mentioning.
Well you got to remember that most ppl on the tubes are outcasts, and hate things simply cause they see a lot of people who like it, and want to be "different".
Nope, it's a bit more widespread than the usual stuff. It's kind of weird. It might be that the nerds have read the technical commentaries, which reveal that the Na'vi never fall ill, have no war and have better sex than humans.
It's generic. That's why the intertubes don't like it. Waterworld is disliked? I freaking love that show.
At first I didn't really like Sucker Punch because there was no meaning to almost the entire plot (and you can't really expect straight girls who probably awkwardly went with their boyfriends to like it) but then an obscure internet movie guru pointed out a very specific and well-hidden plot detail that I missed that validated the rest of the movie. Kudos to whoever made it to hide it so well from me.
you mean the part with the gas and the open flame just after she shoots the guy? @Fenix, unless you are talking about the documentary, you mean movie, right?
I haven't seen all of that. But better sex...duh!!! They can tap into each others feelings directly, it's kinda obvious.
Ya drie, I was talking about that scene. >.< I can remember it pretty well since it was pointed out to me.
They also transform into each other a little when having sex (note the amount of fingers on Jake before and after in the movie)
