Moving

Some of you might remember me hinting at it a while back. Well it's finally become reality, which happens in exactly 2 days. Right now my room is a city of boxes and I'm beginning to enjoy it, and since I'm about finished packing, I thought I'd write this up.

I'm moving 1.5km beyond the boundaries of the capital which will provide me with cleaner air, a bigger room, and appalling public transportation, and that's not mentioning the total of 3 TV channels available there and the lack of internet connection until the network is extended to that area. More time to study for my exams I guess. However I'm happy overall because living in a block of flats has gradually become intolerable.

I will not be logging on for a while from Saturday on. You might mourn, you might cheer, but know this: I will return :wubclub:

Take care of the forum, don't ruin it any further, if that's even possible. Some good news about SC2 would be a nice "welcome back" note btw.

I have returned.

With no internet for exactly one month, my grades are soaring even though it should've been easier to prepare for the exams with it. Still have 2 to go, but I'm fairly confident that this'll be another successful semester.

As for the place, it's nice and spatious, though a bit cold which I haven't accustomed to yet, and so after getting over one bad cold I catch the next one but it doesn't really hinder my studying - my holidays were pretty much ruined though. Yeah Merry Christmas and New Year, I completely forgot about those when I made this thread. So apart from every administrative office being everywhere but this town, and them taking 2 weeks to install the DSL connection (which happens to be half as fast as we used to have and yet costs more), the town is nice, strangers greet you in bus stops and everthing, the air is cleaner, it's quiet, and public transportation isn't half as bad as I imagined it to be.

So I see we have news on the beta and there's a nice footage of a PvT match, some progress. I also see you had a mineral hunt without me - not nice. The new shop doesn't seem to offer much, and I don't feel the drive of wanting to possess everything like I used to so I don't feel the hype I expected. I doubt I'll be as active as I used to be but don't worry, I'll be lurking around to correct your mistakes :laugh:
