To start, last tuesday I missed a test for a class because I overslept. As a result, I had the class dropped because there is no way to recover from a 0 on a test in college.

Today while training my pokemon, I get a call from one of the random trainers I added, saying that they got a 0 on a test earlier due to lack of studying.

    ...

Coincidence? I think not! My game in sentient and is trying to rub in that I got a 0 on the first test I've slept through! It's trying to crush my will to living so I can fill the void in my soul!

Sadly, I've run out of tubs of ice cream to eat my depression away and I don't have any sharp knifes around me...I do see a pair of scissors though... >.>

    yeah.

I'd gotten a A and C on the previous tests, but figured I had the get a perfect on every assignment for the rest of the semester to recover from that 0, and even then it was a tossup if it would be enough to get a C overall.

That's a rough one. For me, it was missing two consecutive classes, and the very next class turned out to be the test day. I'd scored in the low fifties on the first exam, so I just left right then and there; dropped the class that day.

Usually talking to the professor resolves issues like this. They're usually willing to give you the test and deduct 20-50% of the grade, but it's enough that you won't fail. :-\

Talked to my professor about that. School policy is unless I have a written reason from a doctor to miss class, I can't take a makeup test. So missing from oversleep means no chance for a makeup test.

Also, I caught Latias earlier today(was lazy and just used masterball) and tried to lvl it a bit to see what its stats are like. It had a nature that doesnt affect stats and I had it hold an item to increase the amount of sp. att points it gets from pokemon it beats. Anyone else ever seen stat increases like the first three lvls she gained when I trained her:

    lvl 36
    +3
    +2
    +2
    +10
    +2
    +3

    lvl37
    +3
    +1
    +2
    +12
    +3
    +3

    lvl 38
    +3
    +2
    +2
    +9
    +3
    +3

    lvl39
    +3
    +2
    +1
    +3
    +3
    +3

And for those who noticed, I am not making up that fourth number, I have never seen anything higher than +5 when lvling for all the years I've played pokemon. She's lvl46 now and has had constant 3's and 4's for sp. att since after those strange increases.

EDIT: I must've figured something out, as I did the same thing with my Vaporeon and got +10 on its sp. attack stat as well. I guess finally figuring out the hidden EV system really helps out. o_O

EDIT2: Just tried again with my Jolteon, got +22 sp. att, which was about 15% of what its sp. att was, while other stats were 1-3

Here's something you might find useful.

Of course, the information you gain from it should be taken with a grain of salt if you're not counting your EVs.
