Guys, please just google some benchmarks :D If your graphics card is less than a 9600GT then you'll be getting lower settings.

But, to answer hippo1, quite simply, no. Not at all.

you don't need a 9600gt to run sc2 at ultra :)) with a 256mb card with 256 bit ddr3, it would work on high, if not ultra (considering you have at least a dual core processor and 2 gigs of ram ddr2)..

I so have a duel core so your saying that I could run it with my computer? If so that's exciting and yest my comp is about 4 years old or so.

By what standard? Surely not the typical gamer's standard of 1600x1050 at 60 FPS (30 FPS for RTS). Ultra needs 1GB VRAM to breathe (says so in the menu). You can get by on 512MB but probably decreased performance in bigger matches. 256MB will NOT do Ultra without load freezes. I know. I tried it on a 256MB 7900GT. Wasn't pretty.

Also, you've got to remember that, unless you're in the beta, the matches you're going to be playing are going to be a lot bigger than what you're playing now. Even if you're in the beta and you want to play 3v3 and 4v4, you're going to start needing a more beefy GPU.

Impossible to know without your specs.
