Er.... Does your girlfriend need a tan or something? If anything, check out tanning parlors.

A sun lamp is a lamp that emitts small amounts of UV rays and is commonly used for tanning. Also because it emits pure white light, can also make a person's mood better. If you are still confused, it is the same thing as a tanning lamp.

As for buying one, check online using any search engine. Or, since you need it soon, try calling or visiting any supermarkets (Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc.) near your area to see if they sell them.

I hope this helps, if not, I will look into it more to try to find some good sites you can use.

I though that's the thing where you wanna keep things heated up, like peanuts.

Look on the brightside. At least you know what your girlfriend wants. ;D

My best bit of advice is to stay away from sunlamps. Though they are commodities, they are potentially hazardous to your girlfriend's health. The last thing you would want -- especially with someone you have been together with for a while -- is having to worry about skin cancer. Please ignore what EonMaster has to say about it affecting moods. There is nothing good about using sunlamps and there is no evidence that using a sunlamp is good for your health.

    The bottom line:
    Don't buy a sunlamp.

The best advice I have seen here is from lichking. In fact, you should take her out to dinner instead or maybe take her for a walk on the beach. Trust me... the little things count. I have been with my girlfriend for five years and eight months now. It is okay to do something else but if you do buy her everything and anything she wants. That's kind of sad. It will soon become an obligation and where is the gratification in that?

I see your point. Sunlamps can be harmful to your skin if used constantly, just like how the sunlight can. I have never had a GF, so I wouldn't know about what you should do instead, so just go with ImaGiNe's advice.

That was something I found online, I wasn't sure if it was true. If it is false, them I apologise for giving incorect advice on this subject.

It seems that my advice would just makes things worse :( I hope whatever you decide will make her happy!

Uhhh I find this funny with some suggestions, but cool. Also Eon the mood thing being better, or happier is a lie to convince people to buy it, then believe it, then fall for it thinking they feel better or w/e.
