fox is discussing the possibility of making a new futurama season edit: scrap that, its certain, new episodes mid-2010 *nerdgasm*
When it first came out I liked futurama better than the simpsons, but then I got bored of it in seasons 4 and 5, and I haven't watched either show for a long time... feels like 3 or 4 years. Matt Groening said he had plans for three other cartoons of a similar flavour. One of them bombed, the other two haven't been attempted afaik.
Me2 Jasmine. I would watch it and laugh. But I believe at season 3 I was like f that I am going to go watch family guy.
Family Guy is still better, but Futurama is better than American Dad. But I am glad to hear they are making new epsiodes. I was really sad when [adult swim] stop showing it and started King of the Hill. At the time hated King of the Hill, but it's cool now....Never been too much into The Simpsons....
South park is so juvenile, I've never sat through a full episode. There's no entertainment in it for me. Simpsons was good until about year 2002 and then the quality dropped. It's often the case with tv shows, the more production money they get the lower the quality. The script writers and voice actors get over confident, and it shows in the dialogue terribly, and spoiling the feel of the programme. I think futurama quit at the right time. The last two season were starting to feel as though they were going that way. I'd rather they leave futurama alone and make a new space based cartoon, like an adventure with an unfolding story, and one that has a steady flow of mystery and discovery and revelation.
