It's one of the guy's quotes ingame. He's a preacher, and wanders around with a bible. You can actually pull it out in battle and read from it, he has all kinds of hellfire and damnation quotes. I like this one a lot, and the physical size of it fit really well as well.
The word "sword" from the quote means battle, so it doesn´t matter if he has a gun. It was shocking when I read it´s a saying from Jesus, from the very Bible. And there are still people who think the Bible is not worth reading...
