    Hey everyone, StarAngel here!

I'm sure that you've seen tons of beginner threads before so i'll try to make this one short and sweet :3 I'm not super new to starcraft however I am kinda bad (copper..hurr.. =/ ) I main Toss and I've watched replays with my bf and he would play against me and I do have a general idea of what to do but it just never seems to work :( I can almost guarantee that I either win by some freak of luck or ppl just feel bad for the game lasting forever and just let me win (which i really don't want kthx). But anyway back on topic, I was just curious on what a good basic strat for the Toss would be? I've even tried to mimic some of them and forget that, that's a fail all together lol. So some advice, questions, whatever..all are welcome. and so here's a pre-thanks to everyone who chooses to reply.

    ^_^ Toss for life,
    -StarAngel

well u should start by setting up a BO also know as build order :)

like u make probes untill 10 supply then u make a pylon and u keep making probes at 12 supply u make a gateway and when the gateway is done u get a cybercore but what u should focus the most on is your marco what u do home in ur base if u find urself with alot of minerals make like 6 extra gateways pump units cause in low levels of games u will mostly win with the most units dont forget to expand and always make forces

Expanding is when u take another base or so and also maybe it would help to watch some replays on youtube from say HDstarcraft huskystarcraft and so thats pretty much all i got not an expert answer here but hoping it will help u someway :)

Upload some of your replays so we can see what you're doing. A lot of the time you can get huge improvements just from little things like making more workers.

I personally watch a lot of Day[9]'s daily streams. He takes an extremely learning-focused approach, and is fun to listen to.

The forums allow you to attach replay files now. When you make your post just click the paperclip in the top menu bar and browse you the appropriate replay on you computer and attach it. Although it may not be as convenient for some people to watch it as a youtube posted replay, it allows the reviewer to take a far greater in-depth look at your gameplay.

Note: by default Starcraft II saves replays inside your My Documents folder. Just browse up into it and into your My Documents folder and look for the SC II/Replays directory (a bit annoying if you're used to replays being saved inside the actual program folder).

you could try playing cheese style, aka "cheap style"

its easy and hard to stop.

you could build a pylon at 10 in front of his base with 2 gateways and pump zealots and constantly rush rush him. Make sure you aren't supply blocked as you pump them out.

    Wicked Site.

Also fully youtube it up, you learn **** loads. It takes time to become familiar enough with anything to be as good as you'd want to.

Patience is a virtue! Keep at it, you'll be rockin before too long :)

Ok so this is the first time I've played since the beta went live again I feel kind of bad because the guy i was against was lagging a bit :( so i'm not really proud of this win but you can see how slow i am at doing things. also a not : i ACCIDENTALLY clicked air weapons level instead of warp gate tech the first time (I'm trying to learn not to take so damn long to do things lol) Don't be too harsh on me :(

I can't wait for the official launch so I can actually get myself a copy instead of trying to get hold of the beta. Even thought I'll probably still get pwned :p
