New Zealand election outcome.

    An election that does not get much media coverage, but is every bit(if not more) important than the US one.


    Out of the 2 major parties, National(right wing) Got majority with 45% of the party votes compared with Labour's 33%. Labour had formed the previous government, making John Key the new prime minister of New Zealand!

    Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party and Workers(socialist) Part didn't get any seats, but atleast they got on the ballots which is a huge start.

    The Bill and Ben party, formed as a joke with no policies by popular radio and TV stars, got the 9th most votes out of 18 parties (still missing out on seats...)

    Thats all for now folks! in order to stop me doing this again make lots of posts so i can post about stuff somebody actually cares about.

    Haha, that reminds me of, I think it was California but it could have been anywhere in the US, where a fig tree got the third largest number of votes or something. :p

    Didn't Steven Colbert beat out like 6 or 7 people in South Carolina? God I wish I was him :D
     
  4. I'll vote for the Bill and Ben party for sure - can't be all that bad.

    at least they wont radically change the current way of live
