Hey, i'm not sure if i've put this in the right category, but here goes anyway. I'm looking to play SC2 a bit more casually than the average gamer, but in order to do that i feel i need some sort of nickname and not just 'Ben'. I was wondering if you guys could post me some good nicknames that I could use. Thanks, Ben.
Haha, thanks for the replies, but I don't mean things like 'been jamin'' etc, I just mean anything at all, like TheMightyOne etc.
Not only are they overrated, but they are becoming pathetic, unimaginative, and old fashioned, in my opinion. A good nickname does not suggest anything of your skill (like the one you posted here) because you might look like you want to deceive your oppononet into thinking you are better or worse than you actually are, or that you you are simply conceited. Instead, use something that is neutral gameplay-wise, but characterises you or reminds you of something (e.g., although my name is a breed of dog I chose it for a completely different reason that would be too long to describe here but it involves an occasion in my life). Avoid contracting words unless they can be pronounced with a nice flow (as if they were an existing word). In your case, I would think waver, infirm, or even simply inconclusive would work well
Again, the admins are wrong. You should call yourself however you want. It's even good if it's racist. But not here in this forum.
Look up words in other languages until you find one that looks cool. That's what I do most of the time.
