Why?! Why?! Why do they keep raping good comics and mangas? This time they got to dragonball and made the horrible product called: dragonball evolution. AND IT IS NO JOKE! It even has tv commercials... They even dared to use real people, no cgi, real people... --cries--
Won't make the movie better or worse... You can either watch it or not. Those are your choices. I am gonna watch it and hope it doesn't suck.
You're probably right, but I won't watch it in the cinema. I'll just rent the DVD if the reviews are good. It's just that they have screwed up so many times already. And now in the middle of the crisis this movie shows up. If it was a real blockbuster everyone will still watch it, but this one is just doomed. How many people will watch this in the cinemas? Only the real fans. The only pro on this is that there probably will not be a sequal if it sucks.
I just hope it wouldn't suck but with characters with guns in the movie like a big major thing (i think) may put me off but hey, i hope it would be good.
Why use a gun if you can send huge streams of pure energy at your opponent with your bare hands? :s They even seem to have made the Oozaru form human sized?! What's next, a furby coming from the dragonballs? Mr popo as a white guy? -- ahem, XD, cough --
About guns - you don't even need energy, those people can make more damage throwing pebbles at each other
I know this isn't a super serious discussion, but please hold back just a little bit Overmind... *sighs* About pebbles, that reminds me of a funny dbz moment. Goku and Gohan were training for the cell games, Goku was asleep, someone gently threw a pebble at him, and he started freaking out because it hurted. But he was a in super form at that moment! Weirdness.
If I remember correctly Japan once made a live action dragonball movie. It was really bad and the bad guy died very stupidly. Like they kept hitting him with energy balls and they weren't doing any damage then they pick up a machine gun and shoot him once and he dies just like that. edit: sorry it was the chinese that did it from what someone tells me.
It was on a commercial break for the first time yesterday, in the Netherlands that is. Why would I go on the internet to search for Crappy DBZ Movie with real people? I try to avoid things I do not like on the internet, not look if there is anything I might not like. --And I refuse to believe a movie project is real untill I see a commercial. I do not care if Peter Jackson is involve in the Halo project for instance, let me see some footage first.
well, at least dragonball was not a top series(it was great), but they are also gonna make an avatar movie with real people aimed at children from 7-12
