Also, during the game boot-up, don't press any buttons until it says that you can; it might crash. I'm trying to set up a server so that my gardevoir can kick your ***.
not really. Never played a fighting game in my life and beat hard with a keyboard. try doing versus mode to figure out all your special attacks, the key timing is a bit odd.
hrm. After trying some other characters, it seems that their buttons require far more precision. Combusken, gardevoir and Lucario seem to work the easiest. Gengar the hardest (although double left and double right are pretty much his most annoying move, which still works)
Ah, see, Gengar was the one that I tried ha ha. I like how he ducks. Also, how he hits his combatants with a 2x4
Doing the ditto battle on gardevoir is hilarious. Teleportation everywhere. I still can't do all the moves ditto-gardevoir does. Moonshine to recover health and some long range high punch.
afaik arrow rolls are generally next to impossible on keyboard, unless you can map the whole thing to a single button or something.
