I dropped my laptop and broke it....AAAHHH, dammit, thank god that it still works fine....But for some reason its getting kinda hot and blowing out hot air....
If theres something strange in your neighboorhood who goin call? but really you should be more careful
You probably busted something or created contact between two parts that aren't supposed to touch. Might've even knocked a heatsink loose. If it starts blue-screening you're going to need to buy a new laptop.
Probably knocked out a heatsink. If he bridged some components, those wouldn't work anymore, and/or there would've been smoke and an acrid smell. Pop 'er open, see what's out of place, and fix it. It's usually pretty easy, especially with the cooling system, as that's purely mechanical.
I opened it and saw nothing, but was still overheating....So I tested out something, I dropped it again on purpose(but lighter) and when I picked it back up it was fine. There was no overheating and it was cooling off....
It worked because I'm a genius....It took a really complicated equation to figure out of how, were, and how hard to drop my laptop....
I only paid $25 for mine...this is a school laptop so if i break beyond repair I just get another for free...LoL
