So I was thinking of strategies and what other units would go well with the Phase Prism and the best on ei can think of is a moving canon army that just moves with the Phase Prism (albeit with some micro time). would see pretty powerful. Thoughts?
sorry mate. there's been a billion threads that's either related to this, mentioned about this or are fully based around this concept deadset. just look around abit more
>.< power beat me too it. anyways wow i can't believe you never saw that thread... that thread's name is so funny. XD but seriously you never saw that? ... dang...
i did actually see that thread and was throne off by the rush concept. you wouldn't build a phase prism so early in the game in the first place, so what i'm talking about is two prisms and just a mobile cluster of canons, for instance "rolling" from choke to choke. you think this is even feasible?
yes. it could be if the prism doesn't need energy to act as a pylon. so it'd be just like chinese checkers
for future record, please scan every thread title and content before making one, because, chances are, we have discussed this so much >.<
because we HAVE discussed this so much....it's all over the place lol rush or not. we've talked about this phase cannon + prism leapfrogging some people say it's good/imba. others say phase cannon would be nerfed/expensive/weak etcetc end of topic?
Thanks PowerkickasS. The discussion is a bit too similar to the existing one. But I'll leave this open for now because members might want to discuss other phase prism strategies apart from the phase cannon one. If no one brings up a new strategy involving the phase prism soon, I'll have to close this
Unload some reavers from multiple phase prisms then make them create the pylon field and warp in some support units.
i wonder what the unit max is and how the footprint of a unit affects their ability to be transported. This really reminds me of an arbitar, i'm curious if this works only for ground units and if there is a cool down on it. otherwise you'd just bring in immortals and stalkers and go to town. I don't think you'd use it with the colossus all that often. http://www.starcraft2forum.org/forums/index.php?topic=253.msg5033#msg5033 i don't know his source, but i guess it is much more like a drop ship. this makes me miss the arbitar that much more. too bad. it would hav ebeen nice to teleport in and then move to another part of a base and teleport more units
