    Fact is...he still decided to go outside and shoot a tiger. Can you GET any more Russian? All that was needed was for him to be shirtless with his hammer and sickle chain around his neck while hunting on said tiger his riding bear.

    Technically, they're not anymore. It mentioned later in the article that the Amur tiger has rebounded enough to be taken of the endangered list, and is now threatened. Which is kinda nice.

    He was with a crew that would putting GPS collars on them to track them, the tiger would've been tranqed anyways.

    What I'm wondering is why Putin was carrying the gun in the first place...?

    I've watched the youtube video of this...well it was a news report which just showed Putin and a band of people walking along ...then this tiger is filmed running through a forest . Putin is handed a gun and the next shot is a tranqued tiger. So i don't think Putin was actually carrying the gun around. If he did infact shoot it in the first place.
