    So, anyone know why the hell games don't ship ready to work? I'm not talking about system incompatibilities (like an Intel game not running on ATI), I mean why the **** should I have to go to a website and download the goddamn .dll files manually? I mean, I don't wanna sound like a douchebag, but is that really too much to ask? I mean, should the files be INCLUDED on the goddamn install disc? Am I wrong here!?

    FEAR 2.

    I got it working.

    But man. That was a chore. It's ridiculously stupid. I had to download two .dll files, run a C++ package, and install DirectX 9 - Even though I have Dx 10.

    Stupid.

    wow that sounds like you only got yourself a half finished game there. Fear 2, is that freeware?

    It depends on the system Fenix, sometimes certain system setups don't have the required .dll files the game uses while others have. It is not the game or the developers fault at all but how your current system is configured.

    I mean I ran FEAR 2 perfectly on my system without having to download .dll files, so it's based on system configuration not the game itself. If it was a problem with the game itself then everybody would have to download the files, which is not the case.
