Redesign the Carrier/Recolored Tempest

I think the carrier looks cheap because they just recolored the tempest. And because the tempest looks like the Andromeda which was a very bad show. I'm not saying they should make it look like the one in SC1 because they can probably improve on that design (despite how incredibly awesome it is compared to the new one)

NO We'll miss the Tempest's looks and if they put the Tempest back people will go a bit ticked off due to their super strong anti-air shield with no air shield so i am very happy with the Carrier's looks but i would say that they need to change the Interceptor's looks

 

No they should not design a new carrier but on that same token the current one does need to change atleast a little in my opinion they jst need to give it a new ability to keep it fresh and that would be fine. Also the current design looks great in my opinion. (The current carrier is the ship in my avatar)

 

Voted yes. Carrier was the shit, never fond of the Tempest. New Interceptors too.

Carriers in SC1 was ugly as hell. They looked like giant blimps flying everywhere. The new look is very sleek and sexy. I also agree with LordKerwyn that the Carriers need to get some revamped abilities like how the BattleCruiser got one.

 

I voted no. I like the way it is. But if Blizzard can make it even better, why not?

I still have yet to see what it looks like, can someone plz put up the picture? Yes, I know its the Tempest with a different colored scheme, but could I plz just see what it looks like before I make the opinion? (Sorry....I get that response A LOT)

Well...I guess its fine, maybe a singe more of a feel of a Carrier, but I guess they could improve on its design a bit. (Sorry if it sounded like I contradicted myself)

 

Well, instead of reworking on the Carriers, why not redesign the Nomads first.
So as long as Nomad is not redesigned, I would vote nay on this.

I think it's fine the way it is. I love the tempest design. Their decision to swap colors was a good idea. Warp rays can be dark and carriers can be khala. I really don't give a shit whether the tempest design is from some show... I don't think most of us even watch the show. The tempest model is awesome. It looks almost like the carrier.

Plus they are redesigning the interceptors... check out neon-10's screenshot of the carrier and warp ray recoloration.

why should they make a new model, carrier is perfectly fine.

 

Since the carriers are bigger now, they should be a little more detailed. Currently, the carriers are just being zoomed in to make them look bigger.
A completely new design is not necessary.

I love the look but i would like the choice of all around shields or a better anti ground shield. wait that might clash with the choice thing of the BC and they want each race to be diffrent

 

I loved the Tempest's design, and I'm glad that the Carrier has adopted the design. It's really just a matter of aesthetics, but I always thought the old Carrier looked too fat. This new design looks sleek.

 

I love the tempest design so I don't think we need another design for the carrier although I like the original color (deep blue) better than the yellow one. And as someone said earlier, since it is larger now maybe more details is in order. Maybe 12 interceptors as an upgrade? I know everyone loves Carriers, as do I, but I think that Remy on the other topic said he rather have a tempest because you can get it faster. Sure it has less hp and shield but hey you get it much faster that's would be better. But I'm just glad they kept the tempest design. It's cool.
