Ironman, no contest. First off, he has like a billion suits, Samus only has 4 or so. He's also, literally, a walking army. Samus may have the Hyper Beam and Mega Missiles, but Iron Man has nearly unlimited weaponry as well as the strongest armor known to man. He's also going to move a lot quicker, his strength is off the chart, and Tony Stark is a literal genius.
It'll be a stalemate, Iron Man has the tech, but Samus has the movement. So I think it'll just end in a stalemate with everybody in a 10mi radius dead.
Actually, samus has 8 suits (not counting the Zero Suit). Either way, it's not like either of them are going to stop and say "Time out, I want to go get a suit that's better against you." That being said, let's assume that they each had they're standard array of weapons. Samus would win IMO. She's already infused with Chozo DNA, so even without the suit, she has superhuman capabilities. Add on the requirements needed to jump, and the strength capabilities wouldn't be far under Iron Man's. Also, Iron Man's suit is just the strongest known to man. Samus's was designed by aliens whose technology is parsecs ahead of ours, as displayed by the fact that the suit can materialize over her, rather than be assembled. The Varia Suit has shown itself to be resistant against a variety of attacks.
ohai. i'm ironman. i have twelve missiles on one shoulder and a gatling gun on the other. EDIT: This suit has: * Repulsors: Laser-guided particle beam emission units mounted in the palm of each hand. * Unibeam: Multi-band light and force beam emitter. Can be adjusted for a variety of effects such as searchlight, heat ray, tractor beam, laser, image inducer and broad-spectrum (UV to Infra-red) light beam. * Pulse Bolt Generators: Plasma discharges that build in intensity as they travel through the atmosphere, picking up static and ambient energy, for a more powerful effect than the repulsors. * Force Shield: A focused photon emitter on the back of his left wrist that shapes into a shield. * Electromagnetic Pulse: knocks out electrical systems within range, including those of the armor itself, which reboots after six minutes. * Double-barreled cannon (wrist-mounted): Wrist-mounted, fires various ammo types. Ammo is user-selectable and is fed from belt circling the upper wrist. * Flamethrower (wrist-mounted): Largely ineffective while in-flight, but highly effective on "cleaning up" after fighting. * Laser Blade (wrist-mounted) * Minigun (shoulder-mounted): Shoulder-mounted and using an electronic firing system. This is a state-of-the-art gatling-type machine gun firing caseless ammunition. It can be loaded with a wide array of various bullet types including stun and armor-piercing. Default loadout is 1800 rounds of depleted uranium bullets which are fired electrically, minimizing moving parts. * Micro-Rocket Pack (shoulder-mounted): Similar to an assault helicopter rocket pack, holds a variety of up to eight rockets, including High Explosive, Concussion, Smoke, Flare, and Miniature Nuclear. * Particle Beam Discharger (shoulder-mounted): also called plasma cannon. * Single barrel missile laucher (shoulder-mounted): similar to a man-portable missile laucher, this weapon holds only a single shot. * On one special occasion, the armor was coated with a hyper-refractory prismatic polymer which could deflect the piercing rays of the Living Laser even at maximum power. There's something I'd like to point out. Samus is tough. Is she nuclear tough? Didn't think so. Also, "Pulse Bolt Generators". With the suit's uber-awesome targeting system (Samus doesn't have one of those!!), Ironman could just fly away and snipe to his heart's content.
Wouldn't nuclear rockets hit him as well? And if his armor can take that, her should be able to as well
I think Samus would win because her suit AND skills are based of off alien technology and techniques. She also has a variety of beams and suit capablites. Not to mention she has fought against the space faring space pirates that use experimental technology and against Ridley etc. Ironman has a lot of primitive based weapons such as gatling guns, flame throwers, missles. And since your going with a powerful version of ironmans suit might as well go with a powerful version of Samuses which would be resitent to fire, biohazards, have anti-gravity capablites be restient to the most powerful of space pirate beam weaponry, tons of beam weapons that is much stronger than bullets. Not to mention her morph ball ablities such as bombs, and super bombs which could easily count as a mini nuke.
Samus Aran, her Varia Suit upgraded with the Phazon Enhancement Device. This suit has: - Power Beam: weapon that fires bolts of energy at the enemy. It was supposedly "replaced guns by having a good rate of fire and much more power." This implies it's penetration rate is at least on par with a bullet. - Plasma Beam: Short-medium ranged beam of intense heat, has the "ability to ignite enemies and melt objects" - Nova Beam: a "high frequency" beam weapon. Is similar to the Plasma Beam in that it ignites enemies and has good fire rate, but has better range. The Nova Beam is able to pass directly through some materials - Hyper Beam: Phazon infused beam that fires bolts of blue lightning. Extremely dangerous. - Grapple Beam: Can grab on to enemies and objects, and has the ability to siphon or transfer energy on contact. In Hyper Mode it will transfer Phazon into the enemy. - Missile Launcher: stocked with up to 255 Ice Missiles, which do explosive damage with the possibility of freezing enemies. - Seeker Launcher: Allows firing of up to 5 missiles simultaneously, at a single target or multiple targets. - Hyper Missile: Fires a Phazon charged missile at enemies. Has a very large, very dangerous blast radius - Morph Ball: Allows Samus to transform into a 1meter in diameter ball, allowing her to fit into small places. In Hyper Mode it is sheathed in Phazon energy. Enemies within range will be damaged in a form similar to electrocution. - Bombs: Samus can deploy bombs from her Morph Ball, causing damage in a small radius. - Boost Ball: Allows Samus a burst of speed in Morph Ball Form. A) Samus deals with radioactive material on a fairly regular basis, not to mention her energy shielding (energy tanks) absorb damage before it harms her actual body. B) as Meee said, wouldn't Iron Man get caught in the blast by said mini-nuke? There's nothing in there about the rockets being self guided, so my guess is yes. C) Samus does have a targeting system, it's just manual for the sake of good gameplay (Some games have autotargeting, which doesn't allow you to kill priority targets). Targetting systems are a given in this case anyway: would a jet pilot fire off a rocket because he had a gut feeling he was on target? No, he'd let the targetting system do it's job, then fire the missile. source: http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_Wiki
There's not much Phazon on Earth, so.... Yeah, the Nova beam kicks ass, no doubt. But Ironman could literally launch a nuke from miles away. Yes, Samus has shielding. But this is a nuke. The most powerful destructive entity known to man. Also, Ice Missiles? wat. Ironman would be all 'WTF is this ****' and shatter it with sonix. The only thing where I can see fighting Samus would be difficult would be when she uses Shinespark. Also, the only mention of radiation I could see was Phazon radiation. I'll give it to you though. However, even at ground zero, the radiation isn't the problem. The nukes Ironman shoot are equivalent of 1800 TONS of TNT. That's a ****load of explosive. Also, the missiles don't need to track, as they hit MACH 2 within 5 seconds of launch. As I said, the only thing stopping them from hitting is Shinespark.
the mini nuke really has a small area of effect, it was used to take down Collosus in ultimate x-men 5 and its radius was only 20 feet, so i think the launcher does not get in the blast
Eh. It's 1.8 Kilotons, so it is a pretty large explosion. The max height of a 1.8 Kt explosion is about 250 meters. The actual radius is gonna be a lot smaller, but still probably about 150m from the detention point.
it could be a whole lot different in the ultimate universe, i dont have access to the newest marvel things and only read a few of the comics, mostly the ultimate series(2 novels, 1 small comic and the galactus trilogy)
