They blew it up at 7:30 MST to make way for a newer bigger building. There was a whole fiasco about it where the owners of the surrounding buildings were trying to stop it claiming the asbestos would be to harmful. They did that after the charges had been set so the judge basically told them it was too late. The destruction started with about 5 minutes of fireworks which looked really cool then the building imploded. It was quite a spectacle. Pity it isn;t on youtube yet.
