I'm planning on doing a system recovery, but I want to save certain files and I don't know how to. Help?

it shouldn't delete anything in a system recovery. I recommend doing one as soon as possible because your computer will use the space that the files you need to recover are on as you use it.

    Burn them on a CD?
If you have two partitions just move your files on the second one and just format the one with system. It should work, but I'd just go with burning ;)

Gogo external hard drives. Seriously, you can pick up 250gb for like 80 bucks retail these days.

What do you mean it won't delete anything overmind?

Last time I did I lost every single thing except pictures. I don't want to burn because I got Starcraft the pirate way, and I don't wanna use Utorrent again(slowed down my computer).

I really don't wanna lose SC and my cds don't have enough space to burn them to.

What do you mean not enough space? One CD for SC and one for BW, what does it matter if it's pirated or not?

when I do my system recovery it just sends back to when I just got my comp. So doing a system restore is like getting my computer all over again, but with the pictures I had before.
