Ok so this is happening to a lot of people. And didn't see it on here. So here's the deal You can launch sc2 log in and view anything on the menu. But as soon as you do a ranked match or normal match my (and others) Crash / lock up black screen magic colors so on. And 1st thing i think of hrmm must me my video card. Well this is happening to people with the Invida 470. But after having nothing to do i started to test this problem out Updating drivers add more fans running the game on low settings nothing works But in the 1st phase of the beta i ran this game on high with out any problems now i can seem to Play the custom maps all day as soon as i try a normal map i crash. Any ideas my spec Windows XP SP3 32 bit Invida 8800 GT 512 AMD athlon 64x2 5600+ 2,8gh 3.5 GB of ram Now my temp normal is 56c in game it tops out at 73c but normally runs around 63-67c Whats the differences from custom maps and normal maps?
Seems to be a problem with the official maps, only. Maybe they haven't been downloaded properly. First of, what i would do (even before asking in a forum) would be re-installing the game. I know, this sucks, but should work...
