So I am starting my own webpage/blog where I get to whale on new age people and rant about different topics under the false impression that somebody actually cares. Problem is I dont know what domain to register. I thought of sceptic/skeptic .com/net/org but they are all taken (no surprise there) so if you have any ideas for the name or any tips in general for starting a thing like this I'd appreciate it.
If you have a slogan sort of thing in mind that would be on the first page banner then you could see if the initials would work for a URL, and maybe go all the way as to naming the whole site after the initial slogan, if it isn't too long.
Except from the small flaw in your idea which is that Id be throwing all my legitimacy out of the window.
Find your power animal and use that in the name. SkepticalPenguin.com Or try adding something that makes sense to the word skeptical. Like say logic, thought, blog, press, stand, ect.
