Second Beta Key's Being Given to Current Beta Members

Hi, I'm not sure if someone has already reported this on the forum but there are a few sites and beta members saying they have received a second beta key to be given to friends or family members who are interested in playing beta. instead of hand out beta key's to opt in participants they are focusing on existing players to get their friends involved who will actually test and know something about the game instead of the giving a beta key to someone with a lesser interest in the game.

Anyone confirm my or deny the reports?

It's fully explained by quantum mechanical tunneling beta keys that characterises Higgs particles.

In the space surrounding Higgs particles, beta keys are spontaneously coming into existence for a nanosecond before disappearing, as is the way in quantum mechanics. But during that time, there is a non zero probability that a second beta key will be given to Higgs for him to give to a friend. As the original disappears, it is entirely possible for him to be left with a beta key to give away, even though he doesn't have a beta key for himself.

 

Apparently I have no friends, as I have yet to receive a key. !!!

I totally agree with Blizzard's decision to let current testers pick and choose though.

 

The question is:

Has EVERYBODY recieved an extra key? Is it 2x now basically?

 

Some people are saying they received 2 additional keys on my vent server. But I don't trust one and the other is quoting a friend.

 

I know that SOME have.. but have ALL?

I received ONE, as I think everyone else did. Dont think there are people who got 2.

 

Blizzard sent me another one, i gave it to my best friend who i have been allowing play my account while i was at (work, drumline, etc) as to maximize play time. Now we both can play together, blizz has made my week and more games are being played!

 

Actually Higgs Boson DOES have a beta key Lobsterlegs, and he DOES use it.

Um Seradin, Foxy gave you HIS key that Jon gave him, because he though you would do live streams, which you don't hardly do.. Shouldn't you have given him that extra key?

 

wow is there a chance to get a key from anyone who got a second key? would be very nice =)

 

I don´t understand people saying that it´s better to give another key to people already having, as i would prefer it should be giving to one who has opted, and not gotten.
Why? Because you need to have a blizzard game to opt, as far as i can tell. So all who have opted have played previous Blizzard games, and have taken the time to create an account and opt.
It´s because i don´t have a key

 

I apologize i realize i probably should have but i guess i should have been thinking logically, I know my friend will play and his brother will play when he cannot, we started playing 2v2's and Jon has met my friend i took him with me to BlizzCon in 2009, Im going to use this as an excuse to finally get him involved in the site and maybe help me out by giving me feedback for my blog that way i do not have to wrestle school, drum line, work, my own website, my SC2 blog, my SC2 Stream, and actually playing the Beta. Luckily drum line is ending soon, its the last week and its spring break so I am going to get myself updated with my stream and blog so that i can provide the best coverage i can going forward, i apologize i know i should have given it to SSJ and you can blame me if you'd like to. i Sent SSJ a similar email apologizing about the beta key.

=P 2 beta keys? i dont even have 1 , and what if those people who sold their first key got a second? they would make 600$ from SC2 keys thanks to blizz letting them sell both

 

Blizzard stated in the email they want the beta key to go to someone you know.

though we all know there are those jackasses who will still sell it.

i gave mine to someone i know who will play it and keep playing it.

 

Seradin, did you get your key from opting or from visiting a blizzcon?
Because, if you got it from a Blizzcon, i could understand as that shows higher dedication to Blizzards games, but if you got it from opting, i think it´s unfair because that means you get an extra key to give to people while other people, who haven´t a relationship to betatesters don´t get keys then.
Or you could just be a jackass and sell it.
I can see that you haven´t sold it, but i´m going after the logic of giving more betakeys to one person. Thanks in advance :err:

 

I bought mine from a local guy in my area for 50$ and he's a cool guy and i have him on my friends list.

I would love to do live streams but i have no idea how?

if anyone could point me in right direction shall stream a lot
