should blizz release a SC2 replayer?

    as in just a standalone program that lets people watch replays. i know there's already quite a few people commentating on replays and uploading videos on youtube, but i think it would be very nice for all the SC fans who didn't get a beta key to watch replays and figure out for themselves what strategies work or don't work, or just concentrate on parts that commentators might miss or skip (like watching the individual clicks in a nice micro battle).

    No they shouldn't. Theres already programs out there that can do that for you.

    No, I see it as being a waste of time to figure out a way to get the stand-alone program to play replays, which will be pretty much the entire beta program, since the replays are just commands for the AI to perform. And since this will only matter for the beta *a few months*, I see it as a waste.

    What they really need is an integrated video export system like Steam games have.

    That crap makes it so easy to export. ;)

    +1 for the integrated video expert option. Preferably in a H.624 codec so everyone can watch the videos.

    Well, there is that "Recording" part of the Options....I wonder what would be in there. :D
