Europian Union anyone? Yes, europian! So no, they should not.
And I dont like the way EU is spreading further and further east, I hope it stops before it reaches Turkey. I dont want to sound racist or anything but I dont want strongly muslim country in the europe, which is not in eruope in the first place, check your atlas!

may i remember you that if any non europian country joins, we will just change the name, like we did with the first EU version: the benelux(belgium netherlands luxembourg)

No, Europian Union is supposed to stay europian. We are suppsoed to have opened borders, same regulations, etc. There is no reason why all of a sudden there should be another country on the opposite side of the world joining in? No, changing name wont help, if you think that it will then youre missing the point in europian union.
If you want to unite the whole world more then encourage UN to have more power over its members.

If you ask me the whole world will end up in a giant union, we will live in it for a 100 years maybe, than noone will agree in nothing and we will all split up, and the good old countries return.

Those two are literally stuffed with money compared to most of the EU members. I don't see the benefits they'd get from becoming a member so even if they were invited they wouldn't join.

As much as I hate the EU because of its effects in Hungary, the presence of Canada and Japan would be beneficial to the poorer countries like Hungary and not-so-beneficial to Canada and Japan :D That said, I'm not saying Hungary deserves the help it gets from the EU.

Plus the fact that they're not in Europe kind of bars the possibility. The 'European Union' is more than just a name that can be changed just like that. It's a sort of congregation of nations that have influenced each other throughout history partly because of them being close together geographically. They share experience and thus a certain bond that is missing with more distant countries.

The cycle never ends though. Two countries form a treaty and later on they need to invite others/others feel it necessary to be part of it and that's how the snowball effect commences. Once there is a 'sufficient' number of members, the membership loses its novelty and being part of it will no longer be exclusive and thus a new union is created, etc. What I'm saying is, you won't have to wait too long before the EU (its members, rather) form a union with Canada for example, under a new name.

Yes, but you can see that there are oppositions between citizens of different countries.. sadly. This can't be treated as a govermental problem, and this isn't easy to solve. I think it will lead to separation, and some countries will try to get out of the EU or try to get their "rival" out. I think the peace and help we get here is nice, but not constant at all.
I am young, so my opinion may have some flaws. Let me know if it does.

I don't really support all this EU stuff. I'm in London and everyone simply flocks here and its really overcrowded. All the immigrants get all the houses that the government provide and work cheaper meaning we lose housing oppurtunities and jobs making us work harder for the already expensive houses.
So added Japan and Canada to the list meaning more overcrowding. London if not England is a very small place.
