The one I haven't played on in, oh, three years.

The one that I didn't play after the 10 day trial expired.

The one that's on a throwaway email address.

    I lol'd.

Does this mean you tried to actually playwow legally again, but then found out you got hacked and went back to free servers?

If it's those emails saying your account details have been changed they are phishing and they havn't actually been changed.

But if it has been hacked I fear the terrible vengance your trial account will bring upon the world of azeroth.

When I stopped, it was right before Cat came out, it was caught up and there was like no major bugs.

I just didn't like doing the same thing day after day, badges, dailies, it's too... mechanical.

Shut up and surrender yourself to Blizzard's Army of Mindless Slaves.

I stopped playing when my discs refused to reinstall WoW on my laptop. The first time was a 36-hour-sitting where I watched the discs "install" to 50%, terminate for no reason, then do the same thing twice more before actually finishing the installation...one of those experiences was more than enough for me. I am not enduring it a second time.

It's actually hackers trying to get you to submit your account info to malicious sites, just so you know. Blizzard never sends out a message with "you got hacked". You have to make an in game ticket to get their attention.

Aw, no, my own thingie was deffinitely from blizzard, I'm always wary of such things and I sent them replies via the battle.net web-form not an e-mail reply... I also always open the source mail on such occasions to check whether the sender is who he says he is and not masking his adress in some way...

In hotmail, Blizz mails usually have a green shield icon thingy next to them in the inbox. Fake mails don't have the certificate.
