So I tried the 10 day free wow trial just now.

And the server went down for maintenance after a few minutes. Lame.

I also think that games where your main purpose is killing stuff are for children.

I actually play it for the Achievement system.

And to get silly hats.

@Drie - Luckyyyyy. My guild is stupid and doesn't raid, so I've been doing some vanilla raids. Rag still kicks your butt if you don't have fire resist. Or a real tank for that matter.

 

with the latest patch you dont need to raid for t9 anymore actually. So its not that impressive.
T9 can now be earned through emblems of triumph which drop from all bosses.

Not to mention ilvl232 also drops from the new heroics.

 

So? I was killing nazis and demons from hell around that age.
Oh and in Diablo 2 they all meet and it's...eerie? whoa. That reminds Meee of the prequel with a raven poking out some poor sob's eye. Good stuff.

Even if you play for achievements, gear, or even most professions to do it you need to kill stuff.
But hey, I'm not trying to kid anyone here (pun not intended). What doesn't have killing nowadays? Including cartoons that are aimed at children.

 

Nobody really got killed in Avatar, but it was still pretty good.


Anyway, does WoW ever get beyond the "collect 10 pumpkins" or "kill people" level? It's getting boring already. Playing as Undead, and those brown-ish textures are just an insult to my monitor as well.

 

Why, you also get to kill bats, wolves, spiders, collect body parts...

well actually....

not really no, there are some quests way up in northrend which are different and some in BC, like bombing runs, but up till then its pretty much those quests and dungeons, which dont really involve tactics below level 70.
Good thing i was lifeless when i started playing.

 

But hey, I'm just biased against WoW.

is it possible that we get hacked in playing even the demo ? so many accounts have been hacked and I believe blizzard has hard to do to solve this problem. that's why battle.net 2.0 is retarded.

What do you mean get hacked? The only way an account can be "hacked" is if the person foolishly gives out the password, or has a keylogger on their computer and doesn't know it. I sincerely doubt many accounts have been truly "hacked" so much as had a computer illiterate user.
