WoW had a latency of 580 ms for a good 2 hours. It sucked. Oh well, at least I'm level 42 already. To bad that I need about 40 more gold fr an epic mount thingy. :/
200ms here for the most part... sucks to have the server 10.000km from your house. Make sure to not sell anything on the vendor. There are many valuables that can be obtained with low level characters. All kinds of cloths (linen, wool, silk, etc) , jewels (jade, moss agate, etc) , any kind of metal , pearls, hell... even bind on equip greens can be sold for good gold. Basically, high level characters don't want to farm these materials (which are used to powerlevel proffesions) so they'd rather pay for them alot more than they're worth. They also generally buy them in massive quantities. So if you're really short on cash.. check the prices on wool cloth (for example). I'm sure you can sell a stack for anywhere between 10-25g. If that's the case.. just go to some lv20+ area with humanoids and kill there for an hour or so. You'll get roughly around 150g.. which is more than enough to pay for your mount and even some AH gear.
Doing that now. Also: the lag is back, and worse then ever. There wasn't even anybody else with me in that area. Just me and some moths in the forest near shattra. Kinda sad to see an arcane explosion to be "casted" for a good 10 seconds, followed by disconnect number 526456.
